Pharis and Jason started out playing a lot of trad old time music, and after six duo records their singing, songwriting and
the sounds of their instruments have moved into the forefront. Their newest record is Tell ‘Em You Were Gold, featuring the tones of their hand-built banjos on original songs and traditional tunes.
They've won three Juno awards and seven Canadian Folk Music Awards.
